New Route: China — Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan — Turkmenistan

A new multimodal route has been launched in Central Asia, connecting China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan. It has become part of the development of the Middle Corridor and is aimed at diversifying freight transportation along the China — Central Asia — Europe axis.

📌 From Kashgar to Baku in 9 days

On October 15, the first shipment departed from Kashgar — consisting of lighting equipment, mechanical products, and consumer goods. Part of the cargo will be transported across the Caspian Sea to Azerbaijan.

📈 Regional integration in action

The launch of this route strengthens the logistical connectivity of Central Asian countries and expands the region’s export capabilities. It not only reduces delivery times to 9 days but also creates a foundation for growing transit potential — from European markets to South Asia and the Middle East.

⚡️ For AUIK, the development of transport corridors is a strategic priority that enhances economic resilience and regional interconnectivity.

New routes create opportunities for business, trade, and investment, while reinforcing the positions of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan as key hubs on the Eurasian logistics map.
