Investment in Azerbaijan’s ICT Sector Increased by 68%

The digital economy is becoming an increasingly prominent investment area in Azerbaijan.

In the first seven months of 2026, investments in the country’s ICT sector reached AZN 298 million (approximately $176 million), up 68.1% compared with the same period last year. The sector accounted for 2.7% of total investment in the economy.

This growth is particularly notable against the backdrop of 2025, when investment in ICT, by contrast, declined by 46.7% compared with 2024 and amounted to AZN 373.6 million (approximately $220 million).
