Uzbekistan is developing a new capital attraction model focused on technology, innovation, and long-term productivity. In 2026, the country plans to attract $50 billion in investment, with a projected total of up to $180 billion over the next five years.
The priority is not only the volume of capital, but also its quality. Each investment project is expected to facilitate technology transfer, strengthen local competencies, and enhance export capacity.
A comprehensive institutional framework is being created for investors, including:
→ special tax and legal regimes
→ the application of international standards and arbitration mechanisms
→ access to infrastructure through a digital “one-stop-shop” platform
The strategic focus is shifting from capital attraction alone toward the development of a sustainable investment ecosystem.
