Bilateral trade between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan reached $80.1 million in January–March 2026, representing a 42.5% year-on-year increase.
The absolute increase amounted to $23.9 million. Uzbekistan’s exports to Azerbaijan totaled $53.9 million, while imports stood at $26.2 million.
The two countries remain committed to increasing bilateral trade to $1 billion by 2030. If the current growth momentum continues, this target could be achieved ahead of schedule.
The bilateral agenda focuses not only on increasing trade volumes, but also on enhancing the structure and quality of economic cooperation through:
→ establishing joint production facilities
→ expanding industrial cooperation
→ increasing the share of high value-added goods
Uzbekistan’s trade representative offices, trading and agricultural houses, as well as the Made in Uzbekistan showroom in Baku, are already operating in Azerbaijan. This infrastructure is viewed as an important platform for supporting the further growth of bilateral trade.
