Foreign direct investment (FDI) in Karakalpakstan is expected to increase 2.5-fold, rising from $3.5 billion to $8.75 billion. To support this growth, the tax incentives introduced in 2023 will be extended.

Over the past eight years, the region has demonstrated notable progress, moving from last place in GDP per capita rankings to seventh. The share of exports in industrial output has grown from 4% to 30%, while total exports have increased 3.5 times, reaching $2.1 billion.

Targets for the next five years:

→ exports: growth from $435 million to $900 million

→ regional economy: expansion from UZS 54.3 trillion to UZS 102.5 trillion

→ implementation of industrial and service sector projects totaling $7.2 billion

The extension of incentives is expected to create more predictable, medium-term conditions for investors.
